I know they need access but I find it odd they would need to control the scoreboard. Could it be Longwood was confused by the request?

Maybe Longwood saw controlling the scoreboard as a fiendish plot to finally break the losing streak at The Wood?

They very well could have misinterpreted the request on our part. I havent been in the control room for a broadcast (ive been the ugly mug on camera one time though) but I woud guess they need to come up with that somehow

There is no reason for Liberty to hactually have to physically control the scoreboard and clock. But as someone who has been responsible for hiring the table crew in the past, I would GLADLY let someone else take it over. Less work and responsibility on my end, less money coming out of the budget as well.

I find it hard to believe that is what was requested. Access maybe. But complete control? Seems fishy but what do I know?
