Some people just can't get rid of their stupid bone even when given a second chance. If you mess up once I'm all for giving you a second chance. If you mess up again then I'm not going to feel sorry for you at all.

I'm skeptical of him being done for the season if it's self imposed. It would have to be MAJOR. But if so... Wooooooooow. That's a season changer.

It was a violation of team rules. Who else is going to impose it? He may have broken a law of 2 as well, but if he made bail the police aren't going to kick him off the team.

Yes I understand. I wasn't claiming someone else was going to impose it. I said

Since we know that the "self imposed" is the given, I am skeptical of him being done for the season.

If he is truly out for the season, which most on the CCU board are implying, this might make us the favorites.

I realized this happened about a month ago, but did anyone see that VMI put 151 points against a D2 team?

hmmm. May be out for the year? A shame for him.

It's true. He has to have surgery later this week. Luckily, they are saying he'll be back for the beginning of next year.

We have some young talent that can replace Coleman but I'm not sure they're ready yet. We are really going to have to play well to beat some people....

It's a blow for them, no doubt. But I still think Presby is good, and if they were eligible for the conference tourney, I could see them winning.

haha, they wouldn't win the tourney w/o him and they won't win the regular season title w/o him. They will still finish middle of the pack though (5-8).

Nibbert is a solid coach who gets the most out of his roster, no matter how deep, and he's been there forever, dating back to my G-W days in the 90's.....the Calvinists won't pack it in by no means, and won't be an automatic W for anybody.

I'm really torn on this WU/CCU game tonight. I hate to ever see WU win, but I think in the long run we’re going to need to have CCU with as many losses as possible in order to get the #1 seed. Then again I could see WU getting hot and not losing more than 4 games or so if they were to win tonight. Also, if WU were to lose both games this weekend (@CCU, @CSU) that would really put them behind the 8 ball with 4 conference losses already. I don’t know who to pull for.

With Holmes out, WU is the tougher matchup for us. CCU is still a very tough team but I think we match up better with them.

So, rooting for WU to lose as much as possible.
