FamilyNet is foolish not to pick the games up IMHO but I believe they are getting away from sports in general with new ownership.

The Flames return to the Vines Center next Thursday to begin the conference season, playing host to Presbyterian College. Liberty leads the budding series against the conference competitor, 4-3. Last season, the Flames swept the Blue Hose winning inside the Templeton Center, 77-67, on Jan.7 and in the Vines Center on Feb. 6, 60-57. The eighth meeting between the two squads will be broadcast on MASN 9 p.m.I'm guessing that means a tape-delayed game.

SuperJon wrote:I wish we had a 6000 seat, basketball-only arena. That would be so much better than The Vines.agreed. I think the Vines could be made into a smaller version of itself if they moved convo to trbc or have video feeds in several venues or something...but i doubt that would ever happen
flameshaw wrote:Back in the day, like when Peter Aluma, Matt Hildebrand, etc. were playing the Vines was almost full every night. You really couldn't ask for a better atmosphere. I used to drive from Raleigh on a weeknight to go to most of those games. There were great crowds in those days but there were many nights that were not close to full. I agree that the atmosphere was incredible when the crowd was there. The best night was the game against VT when Hildebrand missed the half court shot at the buzzer for the win. It was definitely full that night.
