Any word on when a non-conference schedule will come out? CSU will be at Vines on Dec 31st according to their schedule, which I thought was Winterfest here, and then LU @ CSU on Feb 11. I haven't found any other non-conference schedules that mention LU.

ESPN is slowly rolling out their preseason tourney brackets over the next few days. We are playing in the 2K Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer. We'll play in one of the mini-regionals either at Madison Square Garden ... Starkville, MS ... or my personal favorite College Station, TX. That is the primary issue holding up the schedule release.

Texas A&M has put out its tentative schedule for the 2011-2012 season and they are holding 2K Classic home dates for Monday, November 7th & Wednesday, November 9th. The suspense is killing me.

Are the pull-out bleachers gone from Schilling? That place used to hold 2,000-3,000 back in the SCAR days. Longwood is only an hour away, if you wanted a DI neutral site. I wonder how much it would cost to rent out the JPJ arena in C-ville? Maybe McKay would give us a discount.

It wouldn't be a big deal if this was a OOC game, but to have a conference game and not be able to play it on our home court, is a joke. I hope someone (JB or DL) lays into KK about this.

they can't move the games up either because they have a game the 28th at home. and 2nd at High Point.

If they find the bleachers, we must do it in Schilling. This would be a great last hurrah before it's torn down. If it happens, I'm bringing toilet paper.

I think they have them on one side (wrestling occasionally has a home match in there) Theyd have to bring in temporary seats and maybe have a temporary court put in over the Intramural volleyball/tennis courts to be able to have a game in Schilling (I seriously doubt theyd have the game on the basketball practice courts). As for the Vines, they set up all day on the 29th and that stage doesnt get touched until the afternoon of New Years Day (they ring in the new year to close things)

Maybe we can have it in Schilling and bring back a bunch of the old coaches--Myer, Hanky, RD, etc--like we did when we had last year's football game at City Stadium with Morgan Hout, et al.

Another thought, I wonder if the downtown armory is still available for basketball?
