I'm not saying you want that. I am saying that the only reason this guys name came up was because of how good his sons are. Had his sons not been so good, his name would have never been brought up. Now if he is a good coach and a good recruiter, then let's hire him. But according to HMO, and I trust what he says, he is not at all interested in coming here to coach.

Moving on, I think we should try to steal Jason Allison from VMI. I like the idea of hiring a former LU player that is in coaching to come on staff. Some one like Juice would be perfect IMHO...

Personally, I think one LU alum on staff would be great. 2 might be overkill, especially since both would be a little green. Eaker is definately the real deal, but he's young too. I would not want Lundy as my head coach for reasons that have been talked about here over and over, but like the idea of having a veteren assistant with tons of connections.

I think most of the negativity on Jason is based on some people's interpretation of his behavior on the sideline in one game. On the other hand, SCAR knows him really well and speaks highly of him, and apparently Dugger thinks he is doing a great job at VMI. Along with Stephen Leary and John Jones, he would have the most actual coaching experience of any alum. I would still prefer Juice as a 3rd assistant.

Damon Stephenson, who was an assistant on HPU's staff last year, could be a possibility. He coached last year there, had previous stops at Winthrop and G-W, and he is very connected in AAU circles as well.
