Haha, we had a guy who comitted to us very early on in the process, and then decomitted, and is now signed with another team. Louder wanted to know what had happened with him and see if he might still be coming or in the picture.

and my confusion came because it said he committed on a tuesday night and tonight was a tuesday night, so I was thinking RmC was the man for going out and getting a stud the same day Curry transfers. But not the case.

But Rmc is still the man.

to answer the topic, a really good one...

gaining VanderPol and Minaya will be really good for this team, with Seth we most likely would make the NIT next season, without him we still can do it its just a harder road... I have faith that the team will step up and prove that Seth was not the team, and that they can win without him and even excel in adversity

Is it just me or does it seem like we suddenly have a logjam at the 3, 4, and 5 positions in RM’s style?

I mean Minaya, Weaver, Ohman, Soko, Baker, Austin, Carter, & Joel can all play at these positions.

I would say Kyle's more natural position would be at the 2. So I'd say 3. Minaya/Weaver, 4. Baker/Austin, 5. McMasters/JVP and Soko kind of a tweener

Chris Perez is going to be more of a 2 guard for us. Jesse and James (assuming he continues to walk on) will be our only options at the point, barring another addition.

Bill desperately needs to work on his touch this off season. How many layups has he missed this year? Everything he puts up just kind of rims out. He seems to turn it over a lot for as little as he touches the ball. I get excited every time he's in the game because I think he's gonna show us something but boom, the ball goes out of bounds, or he travels or he misses an easy layup. You can tell it frustrates him, but he apparently hasn't worked it out of himself yet.

So I guess we're all saying JS is gone even though there has been no official announcement.

It looked like it over the course of the season, and hearing whispers about it at this point have to have some kind of credibility. I mean, it sucks, but you kinda have to accept these things before they become public, so the shock doesn't make you irrational.

For a second I thought JS meant Jesse Sanders and was about to be really ticked.

Weaver is a bad fit for our system. He has zero offensive game...and in a system where defense isn't exactly stressed, he's kind of the odd man out. And according to most reports on Soko, he'll make an immediate impact.

yeah really havent been impressed with weaver so far in his career. maybe hes just there to keep the gpa up and coach lets him play every once in a while because heck, were the big south and we cant handle that good of competition anyways
