I'm guessing the CIt conversation has moved here... so:

I think you have a good chance of taking JMU. We split with them this year.... and out loss was one of the things that turned our season around we just thought we would walk on the court and win... let them build up a lead and could never get it back.
I guess technically I am supposed to root for a CAA brother.... but I used to go to LU so....

ODU v Belmont

I'm nervous about Belmont. Lee wasn't himself at all tonight.... heck you guys could have probably even beat us tonight (just a joke!).
He barely hit the rim on two consecutive foul shots and he had the second best avg in the league. He looks like he's lost some stamina while being off of his feet and in the training room. Hopefully he will bounce back or Monday could be scary.
I here Belmont likes to run... what do you guys know about them.
(btw our game was on channelsurfing.com... as most are--probably mondays game too)

I saw Belmont alot during our A-Sun tenure. Tell you what, Rick Byrd is one of the most underrated/overlooked coaches in the country. His kids play hard all the time, and are well disciplined. They run when they can, but are more noted for their outside shooting. Watch out for Andy Wicke, their stud player.

that performance in Norfolk was one of the most horrendous examples of a basketball game I've ever seen. sorry, I was there live, and ODU's play was unacceptable.

some numbers:

we shot 28-42 from the field. 66.7%. don't think that needs any explanation.

yet, we didn't blow you out. why? 3-7 from 3(42.9%). only took 7 3's.

as for ODU on offense...from the field they were 25-62(40.2%), a decent clip but not enough to beat giving up 66%. but the most telling stat of the game was this: 5-24 (20.8%) from the 3 point line. taking 24 three pointers and only making 5...you'd figure that you'd stop shooting, eventually...it eventually got so comical that I was cheering every time they jacked it up.

trying to get one of my Liberty friends who I graduated HS with to come to the game, but she doesn't think tickets are $3 anymore, that those were sold out. Is this true?
