In the quarters, with the game tied and the ball in his hands, he drove the lane and dropped a perfect dime on the coach's son ( nerdy looking little guy with glasses) for an easy layup at the buzzer. He then went for 23, 10 and 7 in a 5 point semi win. Here is a link to video on that game winning pass by Gardner to his teammate at the buzzer. Guys are chasing him everywhere.

I was told it was a very poor league by a few sports people from the local scene. It will be interesting to see how he develops against tougher players. Not surprised you would hear that about the league, and there is truth to it, but to some extent based on past reputation. There are more quality players now. Brock has a 6'9" JR teammate, Nigel Shadd, a 3 star prospect with múltiple D1 offers. He is a beast as a shot-blocker/rebounder. We haven't offered, but I suspect he may be our top backup plan if we end up losing out on Newton to UVA.
That being said, he does have a good AAU career and seems to be a good player. I wish I had gone to see him play, but it was either that or play golf.
