Well you think Coach D is a terrible Coach, the you are saying Roy is a bad coach. If you want to win like UNC(or Duke) we need an atmosphere like those schools... I know you cheer until you lose your voice, but if u wanted to win that badly you would be out trying to get thousands of people to a Liberty game so that we can have the same atmosphere it takes sometimes to win home games. Bottom Line, you would be doing everything you could to win and not just bash Coach D or anyone else with a positive outlook to our program.

The same way we had close to 3,000 saturday... Tell your friends and tell them to bring friends... i walk up to random people on campus and tell them about the games... Granted there is always more you could do for your team so u will never win that battle, but cmon, we got 10000 on campus and however much off campus, to get 30% of the people that live on campus to show up to a basketball game is sad and can be done much better... If people were really THAT MUCH into Liberty Basketball they could get more than 3,000 people to a home game against a C-USA team... Just try it, one time, and if the atmosphere is exactly the same with 6,000 as it is 3,000 then dont do it anymore. Im not saying if we have 6000 people we will win, but we WILL have a better homecourt advantage. Whats a homecourt advantage with 2500 people that are sitting there talking to their friends and not caring about whats going on... If we get 6,000 people to a game and its exactly the same then i will agree, bottom line.

yeah you did say it. I have heard of homecourt advantage....our basketball team has a homecourt advantage. Despite screeming fans, the homecourt is still the homecourt....it doesn't matter how many fans are at the games....Look at our girls team.

I said that, but the SECOND that you get a gym full of Kids like Duke's fans and we dont win, then you can argue until then, nothing, and PLEASE dont compare Men's and Women's basketball... Its not even the same sport... and in case you wanted to there were 3412 Fans at the Girls game and they won... we had 2664 against East Carolina and we won, and it was CRAZY so Imagine if we had 5,000 the intensity and momentum would be unreal

I don't disagree with you about home court advantage... you just can't pin the reponsibility of getting thousands of people to come to the game on a single fan... or the fans in general. That may be taking your rivalry with Dickens a little too far.

Now if someone is going around saying "I don't like the program and you shouldn't go to the games" then by all means... hammer away.

I would love to see the Vines packed... I can remember back to the last time VT's men came here... that was nothing short of amazing to see standing room only.

And its not a Stab Just at Dickens... Its just facts... Since you have been around a while you know that fans contribute to a team's success, and if what you want is to win 20 games this year then you do everything you can, INCLUDING doing all you can to get as many people out there as possible

Then love your team and dont like your coach... ive said it before, you can have your opinion, but if you love your team then dont just spread negativity... There is a time to keep your mouth shut and a time to speak your mind. They wont Fire Dunton Mid-season so just let it go and be positive about the guys and their chance to do something great with Liberty basketball and in the off season if you dont like it call Barber and Jerry himself and complain... Do i not have a valid point? If i dont please explain to me how so i can know... Im human and i make mistakes too

I ask people all the time if they are coming....and some do, but I have other things to do...work, school work, wedding planning (not really), getting people to come to Liberty, sometimes a bit more than just getting people to come see our games......

I think wins justify fans attending, not the high school drama of its the cool thing to do
