As for the topic at hand, This is an interesting group. Expectations will be fairly low though (and deservedly so based on the last few seasons)

How does this post relate to the topic? You are no more contributing to said topic anymore that the previous 1/2,dozen or so posts.
It's like saying we are going to win 20 games without actually doing it

BSC basketball media day is tomorrow, starting at 10:30 AM. In a strange bit of scheduling, we also have our Blue/White scrimmage tomorrow at 7:00 PM, so Layer and whichever player or players go with him will have to hustle back from Charlotte. I believe they have us first on the schedule and that may be why.

Anyone planning on going to the scrimmage?

The only players that will be down here for media day are the preseason POY for men's and women's. My guess would be John Brown of High Point will be making an appearance tomorrow.

We aren't winning 15 games. Try 13 at the most, and most of that is due to teams like Bluefield.

I may be in the minority but I see us being vastly improved. The guys that left had some serious shortcomings in their game which led to us struggling to do things good team takes for granted. All speculative at this point, but we will be better in the middle, more athletic on the wing, and should pass the ball better on the perimeter with a more experienced Retic and an Internationally experienced two guard. Also, don't underestimate the value of adding a couple of guys that have been with better programs in better leagues even if their playing time was limited. Add to that another year of experience for Gielo and Smith and we should be in good shape by the middle of the year.

In our "secret scrimmage" Saturday against VMI, we played a 50 minute game. VMI won 125-115. Drew Smith had 25 and Moller had 19.

I hope moller can defend. JCS could fill it up at times, but 2 guards abused us last season. Kermite is regarded as a good defender. I'm interested to see that position battle early this season.

I assume the last 10-minute period was for the end of the bench guys?

Moller will start, but there will be about 20 minutes a game when he is either on the bench or playing the point while Retic gets a rest. Looks like Kemrite and Reid are competing for those minutes.

Im just speculating. I figure that as long as youre just keeping them for yourself and for evaluating players, keeping your own stats isn't a bad thing, since they won't go toward any season stats...and if nothing else, maybe manson was keeping them for himself so he can use them in his further analysis...just my thought though
