I agree with giving Cliff props, but Cherry has done a nice job at HP, and Layer has done well at LU with the mess McKay bolted and left him.
However, I very much disagree with your "most underachieving team" being your Keydets. Unforuntately far and away, it is my beloved Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs:
1. Seven seniors on roster, four of five starters returned from last year. Eight letterwinners returned this season.
2. Preseason #4 in coaches poll, listed anywhere from preseason #3 to #5 depending on publication.
This season makes two of the last four seasons with 20 or more losses, with the best finish in the span being only 16-16 overall. Totally unacceptable at any school, except G-W apparently, where nobody has the guts to stand up and show Scruggs the door.
