Pack hammers Brolin and gets everybody's emotions up.

BF hits both FT attempts and CCU throws it away.

Good game. We need to work on the FT's big time. We will not beat VMI if we are up by 10 and missing FT's.

I can't believe after starting at 18% , we shot 50% for the game. Not bad at the 3 for 29%

You know I've been watching a TON of Duke this year...A lot of their wins come from putting a TON of pressure at the first 5 minutes of each half and it's given them some wins that I'm not sure they would have gotten. Coach K will substitute a lot to apply the pressure with fresh guys and then play normal defense from then on. We have that option with Spencer, Jonny, Bill and others that are so athletic we could be on their hip pocket for 5 minutes straight.

Although, we are in the BSC and physical play doesnt always work out.

McKay has got to find more minutes for Bill Weaver or we are going to lose him.

I just realized that there are two teams in the conference with a winning record. LU and VMI. wow... it must really be a down year for the majority of the big south. no one is even at .500 its crazy.

Uh, that's not right at all.

First off, we're not over .500. We're 3-3.

I'm pretty sure Radford is over .500 or at least at .500.

McKay said the same type of thing in the postgame interview. He said he wants to find more time from him, but the starters are playing too well. IMO, if Kyle is shooting 1-7 then Bill can take some of his minutes.

But do we really think he will leave as we already have one of his HS teammates committed to come here next year, and we could get a 2nd?

PT trumps that. But with Anthony graduating, that will open up some competition for a starting spot.

I don't know about that. Anthony graduates. But we add Carter, JA, Minaya, Tre Lee, VanderPol. Is Weaver ahead of all of them? I doubt it. I hope he stays and is able to play because I really like him, but we'll have to wait and see.

LUconn psychic??

RMC in post game interview with Lang. "I need to get him more minutes. I'm not sure where to get him more minutes, but he's really, really coming around."

He also described him as a "poor man's Shane Battier" Interesting comparison which I imagine is not limited to basketball since Bill is also a stud in the classroom.

Bill scored 4 points in only 4 minutes last night, but he did also committed 2 turnovers. His ballhandling skills are his weakness.

Stephene also was a turnover machine last night (5), although he made a couple of key baskets as well. In fact, I'm pretty sure our 17 turnovers were the most this year (we did force 19 however). Missed free throws and sloppy ball handling down the stretch could have hurt us, but CCU just didn't take advantage.

It seemed as though Coastal gave up with about 8 minutes to play. They got lazy, they would come down and just throw some shot up with no chance of going in. They didn't go after rebounds or loose balls.

How long have you been posting here? Long enough to know that I have the uncanny ability to make public statements on here that come true. Take a walk over to Riverside Park to see my Pièce de résistance.

Everyone on here knows that I cannot stand the way Kyle Ohman has been playing. He's been whining to the refs every time a whistle blows and other things that just annoy me to no end.

However, last night he had 6 assists, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and only 2 of our season-high 17 turnovers so he isn't playing terrible. I do think Bill could put together some of those numbers as he progresses, but we've gotta give Kyle credit for the little things that he did well last night. I have no problem criticizing, I just think if a player does something good, we've gotta mention that part as well.
