Now, there's a painful little detail. Do you all mean to say that a guy got tossed by the statistician or something? That might be an NCAA first.
Seriously, how is this not part of the conversation? All this time, I thought this was about a touchy LUPD officer, but, no. Somebody got frogmarched by a rogue Johnny Workstudy. Can you imagine the lawsuit if Adam or Marco or Pepe or whoever had fallen on those rickety Vines Center steps?

"How'd we get here? Blogs are part of it, along with the incessant frothing of TV pundits and reality-show contestants, especially that lippy midget from The Amazing Race: Everybody thinks they're above being edited. And the saddest part is, the Jerichos are right to feel bulletproof. Somewhere along the way, we've evolved into a culture without consequence, taught so much hokum about the bigger man walking away. Yet to appease us, we've also been told that what goes around comes around. What kind of contradictory horsesh** is that—that one day, accounts will be settled, but by the universe? I like karma as much as the next guy, but lately, watching my city behave more and more like an Internet comments thread in the midst of a flame war, I've grown tired of waiting for the planets to balance the ledger. Fun read. Felt appropriate for the thread.

ok guys i undersand that you guys are angry and maybe you vent better by writing, but all of this stuff should have been done by PM, or you guys meet and talk about it. i was not over there and i do not know the full story, but it is clear that some things need to be handled better and SJ as the leader it is up to you. if you do not have a code of conduct, you get everybody together and do it. you guys have really done a good job and the atmosphere is changing. you are all passionate about LU sports and i think the higher ups appreciate that. please do not let situations dominate you and make you want to stop something that is truly special. in fighting tears a group apart, and though "family" does fight sometimes, continued fighting tears it apart. seriously guys as a group get together get it all on the table, make the necessary changes and move on. please learn from this. as i was sitting on the other side i wondered why at key times in the game the LUnatics were pretty quiet. believe it or not you presence is key and as the filmguy said you let a situation get the best of you. the hoops team needs you guys, you get the crowd started.

with all of this said, the game itself was exciting but ugly, but we had enough resolve to get a huge win and stay undefeated at home. now we have to get it done on the road and it starts at VMI. i look forward to making the trip and i hope the LUnatics do the same.
