Maybe 7000 at most. A ton of empty seats. I really liked their arena though. It was good size (9847 is their seating) but feels as small as Cameron Hall.

I would just like to point out that not only do people at home games not like us, but they don't at road games either. Tech fans tried to get us thrown out saying we were cussing. Bob Good was right behind us saying that we hadn't said a cuss word all night.

I ended up taking my wife out to eat at La Villa on Timberlake and listening to the game on the radio.

The paper said that the last 2 times we had played Tech, we had beaten them. I believe those previous LU wins were coached by Meyer and Hanky.

cassell is a dump. the old rickety wooden seats are too close together and if a fatty is sitting next to you, it makes it worse. it does get loud in there when it is actually sold out. they list 9,847 for every game and the way it looked on tv maybe 6,000.

Cider, I think the ticket office was closed. They claimed sell-out but there was no way it was a sellout.

I disagree with Smoothie saying that Cassell is a dump. Yea, the seats were close together, but I really liked the arena as a whole.

The technical on Alex was a joke. The play before, their big man went to the sideline trying to save the ball and fell into the coaches. Coach Eaker told the player something along the lines of, "Nice play" or "Good hustle" or something like that. The kid turned around and said, "I know" to Coach Eaker. The play after that, Alex dunks on the kid, and starts talking to him. They gave him a T for that. The kid was talking to Alex the rest of the night and never got a T.

The intentional foul on Russ was pretty funny too.

There was some kid who was a complete d-----bag sitting next to us last night. He was drunk off his butt and kept yelling at Coach McKay the entire game. He kept yelling, "You have to push the ball McKay. Penetrate and dish. Don't play their game." He couldn't realize that we were following our game plan and if we pushed the ball we would've gotten blown out.

VT's fans are a joke. They were loud twice the entire game. The rest of the time they just sat there. I know they're good for football, but for basketball they don't even do anything.

I will say I loved VT's intro. The video on the board of the players was great.
