I'm going to assume that the D-1 coach knows better than you do about his own personnel.. If Davis is such a great defender- how did Rowsey get 41 pts on him?

Since you claim no team it must be easy to banter.. UNCA laid an egg last night no doubt and it was one of the most embarrassing games I've watched- far too many turnovers and they couldn't rebound when they needed to. Since you claim no team though you really are a coward since no one follows Big South basketball that doesn't have a fav team within the BSC..

I do like Rashun Davis for the record, UNCA thought they had him committed until he changed his mind the next week to attend RU and one of my former teammates at UNCA coached him in HS at Davidson Day.. I obviously think he's very good- but he's just not the best guard in the conference at this point and by saying so shows what you know as well.. It's funny how you emphasize offense over defense when it comes to arguing with PH in the other threads- but you now claim that an average offensive guard with above average defensive skills is the best guard? Pick one angle- you can't have it both ways..

Harper-11.8 pts/2.3 assists/3.5 boards/1.7 steals/1.0 TOs/45% field/37% from 3 (4th in steals)
Wallace- 11.7 pts/1.1 assists/4.4 boards/0.8 steals/0.8 TOs/45% field/49% from 3

VMI's system is one that allows stats but the overall job that Petersen has done (also has 10 blocks) is pretty tough..

I also usually want my best FT shooters at the line and handling the ball down the stretch- Davis is nowhere in the Top 10 in FT shooting.. and before you spout off something about intangibles and how defensive efficiency stats are tracked by the league, etc, etc- Rowsey did score all those points on Davis since Price was in foul trouble that entire game.. you were saying?

Rowsey scored when Davis was on bench and 2nd half vs Noreen.

If Davis played for VMI he would avg. 25, 6, and 3 steals. Oh. Blame it on the system tho.
