Hopefully the good offense comes back.
I think this is part of being young and early in the season (at least i'm hoping). As the season goes hopefully its more consistent as they learn their roles

Do we have an offense? I mean really. I know we run a "motion offense" but does anyone actually get open out of it? Or is it just a little show we put on before we just freestyle it or aimlessly dribble until we're forced to put up a bad shot?

great example of the fact that since this team is not extremely talented they need to play hard for 40 minutes....they played hard for about 18 minutes tonight and came close to winning...start games fast, close them out strong...they did neither

Since I've been here, we've never really done either of those things.

We haven't had an offense since it was pass-the-ball-to-(he who shall not be named). And before that it was the same crap as what we have now. Dribble and pass around the perimeter with no plan and hopefully the other team messes up.

We had plenty of open looks tonight. In the first half and at the end/overtime we didn't knock them down or take them. That's frustrating more than anything.

if ran properly the motion offense is great...you have to have people who A. aren't shooting scared and B. people who are making strong cuts and C. great, crisp ball movement.

When we had all of those things going tonight we looked like we could be a decent offensive team...went away from it, started playing scared and we lose.

I expected us to lose, but its still a bitter pill to swallow

but seriously how about that defense. They scored like 9 points in the first 12 minutes of the 2nd half.
