Im Just saying if they were then they have respect in my book due to the amount of skill they posses. BJ was too and when he stepped off the Bus no one had better work ethic than he did and I hope these guys do too. Floyd is going to be a Big Time player here in my opinion as long as he doesnt get caught up in the crap here that most players do.

I know that many players who receive them are top-notch prospects, but McD AA nominations are really not that hard to come by. Just about any kid who is his h.s. team's leading scorer or something, and who knows the right letters to write and occasional phone call to make, can get a nomination, complete with regional rep present at a game to present a plaque/certificate.

I couldn't care less what language was used, but I do agree that the zealous defense of the purity of the language is a bit off putting. Hey, I "cuss" I admit it, and I do think I said "Shi$$" once in aroom full of missionaries, but in my own defense we were talking about fertilizing crops, so I think I get a pass on that!!

Another Pet Peeve is when the "I need to take time to pray about whether or not I should be involved in this anymore" line gets played. Give me a frappin break!! If somone is REALLY that pious wouldn't they just go ahead and DO it and don't talk about it. It also can lead one to think that those who continue such discussion are less pious and therefore not worthy. ANd to continue with Parables For the People, what about the Pharisee and the lady with the 2 mites? I mean I am just sayin.

Now back to the thread. This year, as RD's first year, is a wash and for the same reasons. They do not have their players and until they get their players in the program judgement can be reserved. Personally, I like the way RMK has handled himself and the program which i think bodes well for the future.

I just mean like the rules and stuff. Some players really let that get to them about school. Most players just let it go and I think Curry will have no problems and will ave a great time here, but some people just dont realize that they have to go by the rules
