maybe he was. That would make more sense. But still, he was here last year.
No it was Smitty

Prior to the BS tournament last year, we were 7-2 in the last 9 league games, with one of them a last possession loss to WU, which was possibly the best team in BS history - at WU.

Then, we lost to a hot and good VMI team by 1, when, somewhat similar to last night, the in-bounds pass went from Smitty to somewhere close to half court, while Brew says he was open on the inbounds side of the front court.

I don't profess to be able to state what the difference is between this year and last, but based on the record, I wouldn't call last year a burn-out year.
Last year's team 7-2 finish(w/o a pt g) in BSC was an opportunity for our LSU applying AD to scratch his ego at a press conference and solve all of our problems... obviously. I am sure we are headed in the rite direction though because everyone says so.

You tell me because a couple of us are so blinded by our bias we don't know what good basketball and talent looks like?
And God forbid if a coach gets after his players to get a little more toughness and concentration.

It is RD's fault for not having a pt guard, but he did sit Tee Jay out to solve it.

I don't know if the LB stuff is serious, but LB got mugged coming out of the key away from the ball, and circled way high toward mid court and the ball .... that's about all he could do at that point, and at that point he should have been an attractive diversion for the defense, and the ball should have gone to someone else who was (theoretically) open. It's all hindsight. If you're a coach (and we all are - sort of) we know that in the final analysis, players make plays. When they do, you're a genius - when they don't, you're a dolt.
