There is some truth to that. What adds to my pain is that I just moved to The Mistake from sunny South Florida (West Palm Beach) People weren't made to live in conditions like this.

paradox you are on point! remember that Proverbs 6 declares the wicked man sows discord and continues to pronounce that the Lord hates one who sows discord among the brethen. so yes dickens and others have attacked, misrepresented and lied about Coach D. and when they do that in a public forum they are opening themselves up. however the ultimate referee is keeping score. so as elicoolbreeze saw i believe coach will walk in faith of his God given vision for LU hoops. we all have the opportunity to use our keyboard and the way we handle our own business will not go unaccounted for by God's balance sheet.

The man went 2-1-2 out the gate had a down year like Coach K, izzo and calhoun are experiencing. now it looks like our program is stronger then ever as we move forward. the staff is is unified and the young talent is obvious. God bless the dunton's.

We are wicked because we don't like RD's way of coaching? I must be the devil himself for making a facebook group entitled "Fire Randy Dunton."

I don't even go to bed at night feeling convicted about it either.

I think Coach D is a nice guy, but I don't think he should be the coach of this team after what happened last season. Heck, we've only won ONE road game this season. How can we seriously expect to get to the NCAA tournament when we can only win one road game? I am more optimistic about Randy's position here as head coach this season, but it's very limited: 4 of our wins this season have been against garbage teams to say the least. Just because I made a group called "Fire Coach Dunton" doesn't mean I don't want to see Liberty succeed, and I'm sure that I'm speaking on behalf of Dickens as well.. and like I said, if we win the Big South championship -- I'll delete the group and apologize to Coach Dunton, but winning the Big South championship is going to be the standard until the group is deleted.

That said, I don't believe I've personally attacked, misrepresented or lied about anything concerning Coach D. I think creating a facebook group that has about 60 members hardly classifies as character defacement.

Even if I am the mascot, I don't get paid by the University, I do it on my own time because I support Liberty Athletics and wanted to get involved. Even as the mascot I stand by my free speech to make any type of group I want. Sounds like to me Paradox you'd rather everything be rather socialistic.

You can not possibly be serious about this...criticism is part of sports, even high school players and coaches get bashed by the fans and the newspapers. Criticizing someone's ability to coach basketball, is part of the game and hardly classifies someone as wicked. You are taking God's Word completly out of context, which is a lot worse than anything anybody on this board will say about Dunton. No one has said any lies about Dunton. I seriously can not believe how upset you and paradox get over people not liking Coach Dunton. Your post made me lose all respect for you, because you literally are trying to Biblically condemn everyone one who disagrees with you about a basketball coach. Socialistic? Nice try. Sounds more like, you have no problem dishing out criticism, but when a little bit comes bouncing back your way, it instantly becomes a conspiracy.

We'll defend your right to say or believe whatever you want to, even if you, as the mascot, happen to believe that eagles grouped together are called flames. And if you passionately believe that a certain ex-player and his underachieving buddies have something to be resentful about, we'll defend that too, no matter how farcical. However, if you chose to castigate the coach in the manner by which you did, then expect some feedback along with some light-hearted amusement over the mascot thing.
