On why the Flames won: "We were running our motion and trying to beat them off the dribble. We wanted to get in transition and I think we battled better on the glass tonight. Most of the night we had five guys in their battling for rebounds."

On challenge of league's #1 team: "I said this is where you are at. This is a team that you have beat to get into the NCAA Tournament. I think if we can find a way to beat them we can beat anybody. And if we can keep it up this week we'll have a shot in the tournament."

On CCU Game Saturday: "Its obviously another great battle but we can beat them here at home. But I'm not going to think about that until Wednesday."

On Anthony Smith: "Anthony is going to be a great player and he did a great job on Shuler who is probably going to be player of the year in the league."

The "Overrated" chant may have been the most funny, original thing the crowd has chanted all season long.

If we play like we did today, we can beat anyone. Our offense was basically give the ball to Blair, let him work, and create for everyone else. He is ungaurdable in the Big South.

I loved the way Coach tinkered with the offense a bit. Running Hubbard in the middle-post was a great idea, it created lots of layup attempts.

I liked the rhythm Larry brought at the point went Rish was on the bench. All the little things that haven't worked most fo the season all seemed to click tonight. It showed the potential we have with this squad we they get on a roll.

As for the "Overrated" chant, I think it is lame. It was cool 25 years ago in those classic Big East showdowns on ESPN. In 2006 it comes off as bush league.

I don't think it's bush league and I think it's a good chant to do, just wait til when the game is completely decided. When they started it we were only up like 3 or so.

In the midst of a 7-20 season, battling at the bottom of the Big-South, I'll take the "overrated" chant anytime we can get it.

I think after a win that chanting "Jesus Loves You" would be funny for our school.

I'm glad the kids got out and enjoyed a game... hopefully when they get back to the dorms tonight they will talk smack about how their friends missed a great game... they have some dunks to talk about, a crazy shot by blair... excitment in the Vines again... and another good team coming up.

I don't think we're in a position to chant "over rated" (and I would have wished it didn't happen) but I am honestly glad the student body was into the game and the outcome enough to goof around toward the end of the game. When we play well the vines gives a great atmosphere.

Nice win by LU. Blair was just sick on the floor and probably more so tonight. That dude is fun to watch. Hopefully LU can build off of this win.
