No chartered buses that I remember. There was a big convoy of cars from the Burg and Jerry gave all the students who went to the game a pass from classes.
I still remember one of the signs made by a student, "I just drove 6 hours to smoke a Camel". I thought it was pretty creative, especially since we were playing Campbell. Another great thing about that game is that I do not remember anyone sitting during the entire game at all. We started cheering before they opened the doors and didn't stop until the game was over. Peter Aluma played the best game of his career, as a freshman. He basically owned the defensive end of the court and I believe he only missed one shot on the offensive end.

That was a fun trip and I also don't remember any buses. I did not witness it personally, but I think that was the weekend that Jerry bungee jumped in his suit & tie. At the game, it seemed the entire crowd was from Lynchburg. It was the only time in my life that I rushed a court after a game and it will remain the only time.

I hope it is GW/CU sir. :D
Sorry but I was asked to do Longwood/VMI at 2 PM. I appreciate the support tho my man. BTW assistant coach Jay Royster is my man! I sat with him during the Presby/Campbell game. I used to work with his cousin in Richmond. I wish GW well.

No problem. You should be calling offense-a-plenty in that one, especially if LW continues their hot shooting pace.
