The direction is we aren't going anywhere. It wasn't like he went out on a limb and it was Layer's first job. Look back at his coaching history, mediocrity. If i remember correctly he had like maybe 3 good seasons out of 15 or something like that (Don't quote me) but it was just mediocrity. I dont know why everyone is content with competing in the big south. We all want out of the big south so badly so why do we set our aim so low.

Show me proof he did anything. If you can show me proof then I will admit it. Accusations mean nothing without proof. That's all I ask. Until someone does it, I will assume what the NCAA said in both the Camby and Rose situations - Calipari had nothing to do it.

With your reply, I ask one question to clarify your conclusion. Did Butch Davis do anything wrong at UNC regarding the football program and NCAA violations? This is only an attempt to see your logic or your blindness, so think before posting.

I know very little of what transpired there because it's UNC football, and the only irrelevant football program I pay any attention to is Kentucky.

3- does LU actually care about hoops

5- what's the expectations of LU hoops
And IMO #5 is the Big one, what's the vision by the AD/Chancellor? -- RD was fired and he won a Title, so obviously there is more to it than winning... Winning record important, conference record important? Attendance important?

There is no reason why LU cannot be a top mid major program. just need to get right pieces of the puzzle in place, and that will require a major commitment to basketball program, and major changes in current direction.

Liberty is a very conservative Christian university. It is a lot harder to bring in recruits that could elevate us to a top mid major program without sacrificing our values (which is what one coach did back when we won the Big South..not naming any names though)...cmon be realistic.
