First of all, I just got back. Pretty emotional and heartbroken. Hopefully I won't say anything too outragous.
I just don't get it. Not only as a basketball fan, but all our sports. It's like we take 15 steps forward... just to take 25 in the opposite direction. Every time we have the chance to believe we can be good at something, every time we're given hope, we fail. I just don't understand it. Once everything comes together... it falls apart in our hands. You can sit here and tell me, "oh 19-14 is a great season" That's

. Sure it's better than what we usually do, but the fact that 50 High Point fans came into the VInes and were CONSTANTLY more louder than the 2,000 LU fans.
Oh the the students. Only about 1500 showed up (if that). What the world (i wanna say something else)? Do you even care? Obviously not.
So not even listening to the Beatles and the first album of Maylene & the Sons of Disaster can even cheer me up at this point. Why even play the regular season when we buckle every time? Having it happen once is one thing. Having it be a repetitive pattern is another.
The refs sucked. I'm interested in what you referee homers here have to say about that. It looks like High Point made a halftime donation to the officiating crew. But, all that aside, that's not the reason we lost.
Another thing. Did HPU dress every girl in their school as a cheerleader?
BJ, I get annoyed when people don't have faith in their team too. But you do know, and you might even agree, things like this is why.
"I expect this kind of baseless response out of our two resident blowhards [Jbock13] who often post for the sole purpose of being contrarian (sic) and stirring up arguments just to feel better about themselves. Don't be like them." - NAJ
