That the kind of line-up you forsee then, Chris?
Could be. There are some options. You can go really small with three guards and start the two Sanders and Gordon. Or you can go more traditional with Konan and have a better rebounder on the floor. The nice thing about Jesse Sanders is that he rebounds like a three, so he's not a liability on the floor in that regard.

True. If JCS is a capable DI player off the bat, then I like having him and Jesse with Evan, and then a 4 and a 5, even if Pat is the 4 from time to time.

And I completely forgot about Anderson. He fills two roles very well -- he's a spot-up shooter and a physical one-on-one defender. He'll find plenty of minutes.

From reading that story posted on Baird, I'd be stunned if he doesn't redshirt next season. If he's saying it's going to take him a couple of months in college to get back in game shape, that doesn't bode well for his prospects of playing.

We're set at the hybrid 3/4 spot anyways. He would have to really stand out to be worth minutes.

i think we might add 2-3 more players in this class. last i heard, nothing changed w/ bowen (which is good). reddic, i heard we have a good shot at. (pure speculation from one of the guys i talked to). while we know how big bowen would be, reddic would have a larry sanders type impact.

team could be really good next year.

SuperJon wrote: Carter is improving in the post. His confidence and mental game isn't quite as far along as his physical game. Once he realizes how good he is and the talent that he has, he could become a very good player. If you ask people who followed Pittsnogle at WVU, they say that Carter is at the exact same place that Pittsnogle was as a freshman.
Pulling some quick stats....

Pittsnogle before his freshman year of college 6-10 225lb

Finished his senior year 6-11 250-255lb

Carter as a redshirt Freshman is listed at 6-11 210.

Your missing at least 15-20 pounds which is needed to ever be a true center and not shawn bradley.
