Our free throw shooting was horrible today but other than that an impressive 2nd half offensively. Ohman, Anderson, and Burrus looked impressive. Not sure how bad or good GW is this year but I think that we made some adjustments in the second half, good ball movement, and our shots were falling.

Congrats on the win guys. Not to take anything away from you, but we absolutely suck this year, and will be lucky to even make the conference tourney. Whoever loses in Lexington Saturday evening has the inside track to not making it, since VMI is in freefall as well.

Let's see.....High Point beats Radford, Radford beats Coastal, CSU beats High Point.....if LU can stay in the top half and get a home tourney game, who is to say you can't make some noise in March?

highlight of the night:

For the guys, Jesse made a circus shot in the second half and drew the foul...the guys were doing "we're not worthy" as he was heading back up the court

For me personally...shooting free throws during the first media timeout...

did anyone at the game think it was just awfully slow?? man i almost fell asleep at one point. anyway burrus continues to impress and kyle played well minus the free throw shooting. evan struggled with his jumper and still makes me nervous when he gets pressured. the team as a unit is maturing and playing pretty well, and i think we can certainly get at least the 4th spot in the tournament provided we continue to play well.

The game was slow I agree especially in the first half. I think that we should have pressed them more on defense. They average 20 turnovers a game I think and we forced 10. Gave them too many open looks and in the first half too many second chances. We were in a position for the rebound and were able to get our hands on it but GW would come up with the ball somehow. GW looked very mistake prone and we didn't fully take advantage of it. I take it that GW is not that good based on what I have heard but at least we weren't seriously challenged in the second half. Burrus impressed me the most. He has tons of potential.
