Has it occured to you guys that the jerseys may be free or at an extreme discount?

If they look anything like Oregon's then I hope there's a huge discount

Ok, I have the inside scoop on the jerseys: There will only be 2 not 5 as was reported by me earlier. There will be a set of Navy and a set of White. Both are a pretty clean design. I saw mockups but the real thing won't be here till fall...Also Facilities will look like no other place in the school, at least the office areas. Excellent recruiting tool. I can't elaborate too much on this but I will tell you that most if not all will like what they see and will want a close up view.

Thanks Jon, Looks like we will be seeing more of each other now that I am gonna be in Richmond full time...Maybe some road trips for tailgates and football in the fall?! Gas is ridiculous. I won't be sad to not have to drive back and forth anymore as often that's for sure. No problems on the Madden tutoral either...I like playing online because the other person can't see your plays and you can't see theirs. There are cheaters in other ways though...One more thing about the uniforms; The Warmups will be red with navy and white mixed in.

yeah i'm sure the 50 LU fans who go to games that arent connected with the school will be buying them like hotcakes.

PS - i don't hate liberty or the bball team, I actually rooted heavily for them a few years ago to beat st. joes in the ncaa tournament. I just don't see the jerseys having much sales success outside of people connected with Liberty.

do you mean good LU logo or good Nike logo? I think the kids would be a heck of a lot more interested in buying a sweet looking LU hat, t-shirt, etc. if the hat just looked sweet and cost less than a Nike hat - those Nike products are way overpriced!

As long as the logo is good, and it's inexpensive, college kids around the country will buy it.


Also, if people have friends on the team, school, etc, they'll buy the shirt. Once I get some extra money, I plan on buying a Catawba Baseball shirt, and Mt. Olive Baseball shirt, and Pfeiffer Baseball shirt because I have friends playing there.

i'd by a LU basketball t-shirt if it was decently priced and the team was decent, as in decent on the national scene, not just the big south.
