I’m extremely disappointed in that last shot of regulation. I would’ve liked to see almost anything but that.
It was a good shot. An open Methany three is what you can ask for.
The bad is the continue scoring droughts that plague RM teams. Lastly, Cleveland’s turnovers and free throws continue to be a problem.
You are correct about Cleveland's continued FT struggles, and it is extremely frustrating because he has the type of game that will get him to the line a lot. Aquino has been just as bad, and that is why our team % is so pitiful. As far as turnovers are concerned, so far it looks like he has really improved. Even last night, when he had 4, he also had 8 assists. A 2/1 assist/TO ratio for a 6'8" forward is outstanding, and his numbers on the season are even better.
I am actually encouraged by last nights performance. While you can't really compare this years FAU team to the last couple of years (new coach and big roster turnover) they are still really long, athletic and talented, and we took them to OT on a night we shot poorly from both 3 and the FT line.
