Rell and Anthony were supposed to be lock down defenders. I haven't watched every game, but I've seen my share. Not impressed with Anthony, although he's not terrible, and Rell plays really hard but just lacks the ability, plus he fouls to much. Brewington has the talent, and ability but doesn't seem to give his best efforts on D.

We've had a few good defenders in recent years. Gabe Martin and Ryan Mantlo come to mind. Carl Williams and Phil Ward were good too. From what I understand Coach Davis was a defensive wiz. Maybe that hurt the team.
