I know Justin's basketball team in Georgia. I know he played on arguably the best aau team in history and agree he is a good defender. I was only quoting the "great defender" as an issue.

JMDickens,

the final score doesn't tell you how many second shots a team got because of poor rebounding or how many points they get from the free throw line. There was a game that LU shot 50 free throws vs HPU. That is why a team's defense is measured by opponents fg%, and points allowed. To take it one step further, coaches often measure how many points per possession a team is getting against them but that is a slightly more complex formula....Gotta go...Fire drill!

Like most of the fans, I get tired of coming to games and watching the team play bad.

Bad is an understatement. I would say that we were an embarrassment!

Group hug

Seriously, let's move on from past history and try to focus on where we are now. Particularly considering this thread is about a guy who wasn't even on campus last year.

I just wanted to give BJ some props on his own thread...it's been a while since I've seen a freshman step up like that on both ends of the floor...he seems to have great court awareness and being able to anticipate before things take place....big ups
