It is like most views of history. The victors write the history. I think Dees liked being at Liberty, I don't think he didn't want to play defense....Kinda odd for someone to say that was his problem...

Dees: "Coach, I hate playing defense, I hate you, I am leaving."

I had a chance to sit down with Coach Dunton on Wednesday and really hear his heart. I see a man with a passion for succeeding who is doing what needs to be done to make that happen. He is really confident about this team he has. He admitted that there were some tough decisions to make. He told me that they actually almost got a kid before they signed Risher. He did not like making the visit to tell the kid they didn't have a scholarship for him after that because he REALLY wanted to go to Liberty. He also gave me some encouraging words for my own dreams. I definitely have a ton of respect for him after our conversation and wish him nothing but success.

John Bunting was a great man and loved his school and worked extremely hard to make them a good team.
