After mostly reading that Coronado is a bruiser, I was pleasantly surprised by the athleticism he shows in that video. It looks to me like he can make a big contribution right away.

While playing for the Venezuelan National Team this summer for Brad Greenberg of all people, Juan just got word that he has made it through the NCAA Clearinghouse with two seasons of eligibility to play for LU. This is huge news for getting him on the court this fall.

Burrus is not going to play the 5 next year. He will be our starter at the 4, which is his natural position. Coronado will compete with both JVP and Sommy for the starting center job.
