Ok...Let me break it down for you:

1) Alot of our "fans" talk about our teams like they are rec. league soccer programs...where we arent really suppose to keep score...cuz we dont want little Johnny to feel bad about losing ! Therefore, we talk about are teams "trying their best " or "improving" in some generic sense...but the fact is.....the records and stats dont reflect it......We're living in a dream world. This is NCAA Division 1 athletics ! ..."grow some..."

Who is saying that stuff? I think we're realistic with what we have. But certainly not happy with it.

There is a ton of sugar coating going on about our level of performance both in mbb and fb. Excuses flying in all directions and anybody who might question the direction is cut or seems some are even banned from participation. We want our bubble to not have the toxic of truth just our politically correct pep rally.

Who's being banned? If anybody should be it would be you for using two screen names to spew your drivel all over the boards.

There is plenty if dissenting opinions here. The difference between you and everybody else is that it doesn't come to JB's fault in every thread.

If you have tossed in the towel on this team and think there is no realistic chance we win the tournament, then I cant respect your opinion about our program and our AD.

I think all of us have played nice so far in regards to RD. I dont think anyone on here desires to throw him under the bus for his off the court issues, but you 2 make it really convenient. You should realize that him being canned had little to do with is record.

Not true. We are big enough to realize the politics in play. Convenient bull again to cast innuendos so our AD is protected for his bogus moves. I know it happens when AD come in but it doesn't make it right. He did Royer the same way. Bottomline is the program has suffered period. Look at 2006-2007 schedule playing Oklahoma, Florida (National Champs), Seton Hall, BYU, Oral Roberts, Niagra, East Carolina, Buffalo finishing 3rd (7-2 last nine)in a tougher BSC.

ToC if you want to know why youre being basically lambasted by people (like Rooster and Purple and postman and at times myself), look at what youve been posting. Everything comes down to the AD with you. The men's basketball team is struggling...Its the AD's fault and he should be fired...The baseball team is struggling (although they are 5-0 to start this year)...its the AD's fault and he should be fired...the women's basketball team loses to Winthrop...it's the AD's fault and he should be fired...the nachos are terrible...it's the AD's fault and he should be fired...gas prices went up almost a dollar...it's the AD's fault and he should be fired...Pluto is no longer a planet...it's tha AD's fault and he should be fired...you see where Im going with this? You seem to think that every single thing, on and off the court, is because of the AD...I think youre giving FAR too much credit to just one person and thats why a lot of people just dont take you (or your butt buddy IMBach) very seriously. I mean even when you "congratulate", it cant be taken seriously

JB even stated that the on court performance was not the biggest reason he was let go. Remember also that personnel at that level never get made without the express approval of The Big Kahuna. So if you are going to blame JB for firing DR and hiring DL maybe you should be calling for the head of the Chancellor since he is responsible for JB. Just trying to help you be consistent.

Politics/Personel Vindetta? Or RD Ran a Shady Program?

Never being connected to the program other than a fan or a student I can only make an educated guess. Based upon all my observations of attitudes and character judgments based upon my encounters with players, I would vote Shady Program. I would be interested in hearing why it was Politics? What did JB have to gain?

After 6 yrs this place is starting to implode. I'm getting sick and tired of logging on here to read about sports only to find rehashed posts about former coaches and the same tired arguments over abortion, gays and dems v repubs.

meanwhile, no one bothers to mention how well swimming did, or crew, or the paintball teams, or hockey, or wrestling, or any of the other teams that are leaving it all on the field/court/ice/pool every day.

it's a freakin' shame too.
