No real surprises here. Would be nice to know who's in our pod for the 2k classic. I'm disappointed in 3 sub D1 games, but without JB we may need all the early Ws we can get.

They could have these games anywhere. When the students are gone over break the attendance is on par with a high school JV game.

I really like this schedule! I think for where we are it presents a lot of opportunities to play quality opponents we have a good shot a beating. Also, although I mourn the loss of JB as much as anyone, I don't think we be harmed as much as some of you think. Even if he were still healthy I think this year's team would not have to rely as heavily on his production as last years. I really expect some of the new guys to step up and do well. We are young but deep.

Eastern Kentucky, Lehigh, William & Mary.

No idea why that wasn't released by the 2K Sports people.

Guys, I really like this schedule! I think we might be able to win at least 70% of these games. Should win more to be honest.

I dunno. About 12 years ago, Montreat had a great squad with really solid coaching..... :D

EKU released their schedule, and based on their lineup for the 2K classic, LU's schedule will be:

Nov 18 - Eastern Kentucky
Nov 19 - Lehigh
Nov 20 - William & Mary

Thanks, Lang.

I can't find any numbers on what the RC gym holds, but the whole college only has 517 students.

One quick note to the 2K bracket... did Valpo pay 2K to have that cupcake pairing? UI-Kokomo? really?

Coach Nunley at Randolph is a heck of a coach. I've reffed many of his games. For a school that had no men's team to playing for the ODAC championship 4 years later, is quite a feat. Especially considering the ODAC has had multiple teams in the top 10 for the past few seasons.

I have a hoop in my cul de sac where I bet we can have @ 500 people sit in the grass and watch the teams play 1/2 court basketball. I won't even charge admission.

Since we're basically a member of the CAA this season...William & Mary was picked to finish 6th in the CAA, UNCW 10th and GSU 11th out of 12 teams.

Just thinking outloud here. Is it just by chance we're playing all these CAA teams (like low travel costs for away games), or are we trying to show something to the CAA folks that we can compete (and maybe get an invite that way)?

I played against Clairton (PA) High School in the mid 60's and their gym WAS on a stage and locker rooms under the stage a level down. Weird experience. A combination of Broadway and NBA Play Basketball
