I like JOn's breakdown and I tend to agree with much of what he says about everybody. I wish I could get inside Evan's head though because I didnt see a game where he sulked on the bench so it sounds to me like this is something that occurred fairly recently.

Jesse can average around 6 assists a ballgame so I could see him breaking the assist record next year

This is me being slightly picky but did anyone notice (especially in Vines) that Jeremy had one or two spots on the floor where he tended to hit most of his threes from? It seemed to me like he nit almost everything from the left corner (on the end with the tunnel) and from straight on? JC looks like he can hit from pretty much anywhere (Evan too)

I was happy to see that after missing his first 2 or 3 attempts on Saturday JC did not stop firing and Jesse did not stop looking for him. That's the "no-consciense" approach someone mentioned. I believe he has big-time shooting/scoring ability. He would have helped us more in that area this year, but I don't think Layer trusted him enough on defense.

I agree. it just seems like he would go right for one of those spots and if he got the ball there he'd shoot it. if you have somebody that can hit from anywhere on the floor, the defense is going to have to keep a better account of him when he is on the floor and that will open up some lanes for Jesse and Evan and others to slash to the basket or to get easier entry passes to JVP or whoever was in the post.

I can see JVP getting the JVP tattoo and being a KO type of player next year.... And we all know how much we would rather have seen KYLE suit up every night as opposed to KO.

I hope our pure shooters work on consistency I'm not sure I've ever seen more players on a team where pure shooters get so hot then hit the side of the backboard or completely miss the rim

I hope our men can learn a lesson from what happened to our WBB team last year. Everyone back from a highly successful season and they regressed instead of improving. Based on comments by both players and coach Green, it appears that complacency was a real issue. I think the disappointing end to this year for the men should remove that from the equation, but they need to know that having all the key players back does not guarantee you will be better.

Unfortunately the second 3 pointer Jesse hit this year came at the Justice Center to put away the Bulldogs down the stretch.. It was a clutch shot for Liberty.
