We have a schollie if McKay wants to do it. The player who would lose it would not likely see the court much next year, and I'm sure there is "alternative financial assistance" available to help him finish his degree if he chooses to remain at LU.
Sorry to bump such an old thread, but this kid is playing on ESPN2 right now for Long Island in the NEC championship. He made All-NEC first team as a Soph. Solid looking player.

Not gonna lie, I was really disappointed this kid didn't land in Lynchburg. He had some nice battles with Stephen Baird in the Alamo City.

Julian Boyd is a BEAST!!!! I went to LIU as an undergrad and was at the 2 prior games before this one. The major selling points is NYC, the pharmacy and journalism school. Beyond that the overall facilities are nowhere near LU. Local home grown talent have no interest in attending most local schools here unless its Columbia, St. Johns, or Fordham, (Hofstra doesn’t count not part of the 5 boroughs). The funny thing is that Coach Layer could scoop up so many and talented kids from the New York / New Jersey area who would love to have the opportunity to attend Liberty if they only knew about it. I just wish he would book a game up here. My daughters is a senior in H.S. and preferred to attend the fall 2011 semester at Liberty instead of LIU, Manhattan College, Stony Brook and Rutgers. The surprising thing is that I never pushed her to come, she enjoyed the campus. Play Basketball

Well we will be up at Iona as a return game to our BracketBusters appearance this year (although if we get run out of town like we did down here that wont help our recruiting much)

Ok, I recognized that name too, but I didn't put 2 and 2 together.
