January, 2009: This young wing player has tremendous upside and a bright future if he improves at a steady rate. Ford has good size. He has long arms that help him use his length to score. He runs the lane in transition where he can score by getting to the rim or spotting up along the arc. He is strong for his age and can finish through traffic. Ford can knock down the open three off the catch, shoot the mid range pull and get all the way to the rim. He is a good rebounder and passer as well. He works hard to defend the ball and does a good job of being active in the passing lanes where he comes up with a steal that he can turn into a basket very quickly. Ford is one to watch this spring and summer.
