Three for MASN. It was horrible. I turned it a few minutes into the second half and watched Parks and Recreation then turned back to it (I had DVR'd everything I missed.)

Don't feel so bad folks....we didn't show up tonight in Conway either. Watching the video reel on the Coastal website, I wonder if anyone on our coaching staff knows about dribble penetration, and how to at least make an effort to stop it?

VMI has caught us for the #8 spot. Boy, that game here against them next Thursday has importance!

With CSU beating UNCA tonight, I don't know who gets the #4 seed and the home game at this point. I agree with y'all though that Winthrop is really hitting their stride right now.

Guys why was Vines so empty last night? Caught most of the 1st half Liberty infomercial on MASN and the place was empty.

Attendance was 2277, so the crowd wasn't all that bad considering how many students probably left to go home ahead of the storm without classes tomorrow. Attendance for the year on average is around 2568. 2277 just looks smaller in an 8500 seat arena than it does in a Dedmon.

I don't know how many kids went home, but I thought the crowd was disappointing. I'm sure there were lots of students on campus who didn't come, and with no classes Friday that's pretty lame. We are not there yet on making the Vines into "The Furnace" again. It seems like our young guys are distracted at home and the crowd energy isn't enough to compensate for it. We may actually be a better team on the road right now.

This was one of the more unpleasant LU games I've attended. After we responded to their initial outburst, it just seemed we couldn't get out of our own way, and some of it was hard to figure out. 8-21 from the line? That's crazy. This is a good free throw shooting team. Some really careless turnovers and too many open looks for WU. Granted, in the past couple of years they had a tendency to miss those shots, but they didn't last night, and we can't afford to make it that easy.

Evan really looked like a freshman out there, and nobody else was much better. I need to remind myself with this young team to enjoy the high moments like the RU win and understand that with our lack of experience there are going to be games like this. As far as the "they aren't freshmen anymore because they've played so much" argument, IMHO that's good coachspeak, but they are still 18 years old.

Peter Rabbit was fun.

I watched it on MASN, ugly game, the crowd was pathetic, students need to get it together, but the team needs to play better. We need a kid who can draw people. There isnt one player on the team who is really exciting to watch in my opinion. We need a Gabe Martin or a Larry Blair type of player. Need someone who can take it to the rack and dunk on someone. Give the students something to cheer about.

And we play Radford at home on 2/16 which will be on ESPN 360

may not be pretty..

I think Winthrop is just really playing well right now. I have seen everyone but Coastal but I would say Winthrop is as good as anyone if they hit shots like they did last night. Radford is very beatable. They are still going to be tough in the tournament though. It would be nice if this Liberty team finished in the top 4 but I don't really know if they can do that. I agree with Oldflame 100%, they are still very young despite the high amount of minutes some of the freshman have logged.
