I can agree that they are quite horrible, I wish they would just run the radio guys through the video feed it would be a lot better.
ok i was gonna say. I thought the radio guys were a little better than this. i figured these guys just did the tv. i think they just don't know what to talk about during dead time so there is either dead air or retarded conversation about how the guy is a carolina fan or making fun of fans doing the ymca.

I want to punch them both in the throat and end their careers early... You know, before their lack of talent does that anyway...

Then again, the same thing can be said about out Basketball Team

Honestly though this is just one of those games. We've got to find a groove without Kyle.
We'll get better throughout the season, but this one shows us how far weve got to go. The 4 seed won't be won by this Liberty team.

Obviously it was a joke(so I dont incite a riot). Most D-I players go pro somewhere.

I forgot the thing about basketball where one game decides a season.

HPU is an solid team, let's not write ourselves off.

You also missed the wording. THIS team. The team that showed up tonight wont make the 4 seed. That doesnt mean they cant improve. It does mean that we need to improve alot in order to reach that goal.

I had to look hard, but I think I found a couple of bright spots:

Carter had one of his best games. 3-4 from the field with some boards and some blocks.

Perez played pretty good defense on Barbour in the second half.

A David Minaya sighting with a 7 point outburst in 6 minutes in the first half. (Then inexplicably he did not play any more in the game.) :dontgetit

Note that none of these are starters.

Jeremy overcame a slow start and gave us some perimeter offense. That was about the best thing I can say about our starting lineup. Everyone else played pretty much their worst game in a long time.

Improve? This was just a bad game with no Ohman. Come on guys. We lost, it was bad, but come on. This is the same team that handled Presby on the road and CSU, who are mid level BSC teams right now. We're just fine, and need to get Kyle back for the playoffs.

There back to the same point we were a month and a half ago. They have got to find their identity and roles all over again. Can we hurry up and get this season over already and hopefully limp to .500 or close

the guys must play as if KO will not be coming back. yes this is one loss and HPU was shot the ball very well last night and are just a very good team, but we have matchup problems and until a few guys step-up and take a leadership role we will struggle. we missed too many lay-ups last night and 18 turnovers do not help either. we are just very thin. lets hope for a better performance at radford.

Lang's take on the game, from this morning's fishwrap:
LU offense flounders with Ohman out hurt

By Chris Lang | Sports writer
Published: January 21, 2010

HIGH POINT, N.C. — There were moments in Thursday night’s 81-53 loss at High Point where Liberty just looked lost on offense. Communication broke down. Point guard Jesse Sanders threw passes to spots where he thought someone would be, only to watch the ball skip out of bounds. On a late possession, Carter McMasters tried to yell out instructions to a teammate. Instead, he and Evan Gordon ran into each other as the latter tried to work his way around a screen.

It almost looked like the Flames were starting over from an offensive standpoint, and essentially, they were. Kyle Ohman was back in Lynchburg on Thursday, having a pin placed in his broken left wrist. His loss was profoundly felt on the floor. Never mind that Ohman is Liberty’s leading scorer. But he’s the Flames’ most complete offensive threat. He rebounds. He makes smart decisions. He gets his teammates shots when defenders collapse on him in the paint.

“I don’t think people understand what Kyle does for us,” Liberty coach Dale Layer said. “He’s a great decision maker. He’s our emotional leader. He scores. He rebounds. He kind of glues us together at times.”

First of all Presby is nowhere near the middle of the pack, they're 1-7 and tied for last. CSU was a nice win, but again it was at home. And no, this is not the same team that had those performances. Those performances came with a healthy and very productive Kyle.

Minaya played in the 2nd half, but only in mop up time for like a minute or so. But still understand your point. I'm not sure why he didn't play early on in the 2nd.

Carter played well, but realize the majority of his production came when HPU had their walk ons in.
