The Flames also held its second straight opponent under 50 points. The last time Liberty held two straight opponents to 50 points or less was the 1992-93 season. The game also marked the third time this season a Liberty opponent scored under 50 points. The last time a Flames team accomplished such a feat was during the 1984-85 campaign, when seven opponents were held under 50 markers.
Impressive for a team that couldn't guard a podium at the beginning of the season.

From the fishwrap:
“We’ve got to make some 3s,” PC coach Gregg Nibert said. “Al’Lonzo is great inside. He’s one of the best post players, I think, in the country. But he’s got to have some help. We’ve got to knock some shots down. We didn’t do that tonight.”
:rofl

We've been first in % of minutes played by Freshmen pretty much all year. We're 4th or something like that in youngest average age, but that's partly because one of our Freshmen (Stephene) is 22.

According to Scar and Jones LU plays the most freshman minutes in the country, but PC is actually a youger overall team. Both schools rosters average at just over 19 years old.

That's cause Johnny is 22. He's a freshman, but 22.

Wow. He's gonna be like the bizzaro version of BJ when he gets to be a senior. I had no idea he was so old. That's what Pitt does every year. They've got like 27 year old seniors.
