Two observations:

(1) Smitty shot 7-8 from behind the arc and tied a Vines record with 7 threes.

(2) Noticed that Super was on the 2nd row last night--what happened, did he arrive late and couldn't get on the 1st row???

When I got there in the second half we were all in our usual spots.

Not sure if they were elsewhere before that.

I'm rarely ever at the very front. I was the second one there last night. The reason I'm not at the very front the entire time is I'm normally going back and forth between people trying to set stuff up.

Stupid that people cannot move to a different seat if they were annoyed. I would want to (not in this case, but if I didn't like the people that I was sitting close to). In a cracker box gym, while on the bench at the (small, I know) NCCAAII championships, there were some locals behind the bench (and old ones, I must confess) that wanted me to keep the guys on the bench seated. I should have had SJ there to cuss them out, but I just did my best to ignore them.

Anyway, great win - as every win is. Congrats to coach & the guys.

Why would I cuss anyone out? There's no need for that.

I wasn't trying to bust anybody's chops ... actually just trying to be friendly/funny. Sorry, it won't happen again.

My theory about Nate being held out to save his eligibility to use at his next destination may have gone out the window last night. Actually, he didn't look bad, and might be able to help out with a few minutes against certain matchups, even if it's not a blowout. I also noticed that Armon was in civvies. Does anyone know why?

Does anybody else hate it when a coach lets a player play in the 1st half with 2 fouls? That's one of those things that I like when it's a hard rule by a coach. 2 fouls, you sit until the 2nd half. Especially with TJ the fouling machine. He had 3 in the first half and I was ticked.

If they think our fans are classless they have seen nothing. Others schools chant profanity and curse words in unison. All we did is basically cheer for our team. Pathetic.

YOU SHOULD BEEN SITTING IN THE BUFFALO STUDENT SECTION LAST YEAR. THEY WERE BEHIND THE LU BENCH AND THEY RIPPED DUNTON AND CO. SO BAD, I WAS GLAD I DID NOT HAVE A LU SHIRT ON....SOME OF THE STUFF THEY SAID HAD ME DOING :cartwheels

Its a judgement call that many coaches have to make. Depends on the player. William and Mary had their best player get his 3rd personal at the Richmond game tonight in the first half. He came out and one min into the 2nd half he got foul # 4. It was a bad gamble indeed tonight. BTW talk about a bad atmosphere. Richmond is a great place to watch a game but the fans are all over 60 and rich looking. It does not make for a good college game atmosphere. I hope they go get a big name coach there and start marketing the team. I need to start going to VCU games. Manson, I forgot to let you know I had free tickets...They were on the floor too. My bad. I get more next Wed though....As for TB, that is bad news. He can really help this team. I hope he has a speedy and complete recovery.

It's all good Scar, I wouldn't have been able to make it last night anyways as Morgan had a car accident. She is fine, just a lot of damage to the car. So all last night all I did, was get the insurance claim done, and go get a rental. All that matters though is she is safe.

Richmond definitely needs to do something to get people out to their games, even their football games are practically empty. Pretty sad.
