DI Games #27-28 at Oklahoma

a huge top 5 ACHA battle this weekend in norman as #4 oklahoma (22-2-1) entertains the flames (18-8-1) in a two game set as both teams look to solidify sports in the nationals. game time friday is 7:30 CST and saturday is 6:30 CST. OU is coming off a 10-1 rout of colorado, and LU is sporting a two game winning streak after sweeping Robert Morris 5-1 and 6-5. it appears you can listen to the games on the sooners website.

My grandparents live in OKC. Shame I can't be out there for the games this weekend.

Yeah, I think the Land Thieves play their games up in OKC. I hope the boys enjoy some Braums while they are in the land of Dirt Burglars because there isn't anything else of any count in that Indian Territory.

Land Thieves and Dirt Burglers... that just sounds naughty...lol
I think OU plays their games at the Ford center where the OKC Blazers play. I actually saw my first big hockey game there on my birthday back in like 96. The Blazers beat dallas 16-1. OKC scored :12 in. Dallas scored 1:30 later, and then OKC was off to the races. I lost my voice at that one...hahaha

hah..no worries... i dont think anyone really knows where OKC stops and places like bethany, norman, midwest city, etc... actually start.

Judging from there pictures they don't play at the Ford Center.... Interesting that OU has only had a club hockey team since 2003-2004 school year. Also they came to the burg the first week of November and we spilt with them 3-2 (ot) Lost in game one and won game 2 4-2..

i dunno, maybe they are at the myriad, where the blazers used to play... but those pics dont look like the myriad either...
i thought i remembered reading an article in the OKC newspaper talking about the sooners playing in the saem building as the blazers... maybe they moved...hmm
