We beat the #1 seed tonight San Jose State... Next game is in the morning.

WAY TO GO LU HOCKEY!!!! If I had a hockey jersey, I'd be wearing it.

assuming we win out and/or advance in pool "B", I'd guess we will face the winner of the pool "D" Indiana-PA/Davenport game. Either of whom we've beaten but are good matchups for us.

not that I'm one to speculate or look ahead.

good win. i too need an authentic LU hockey jersey, or even a replica at this point.

5-2 win over san jose state. our next opponent penn state, lost last night to michigan state 4-3.

Smoothie, I looked high and low for a write up on that 5-2 win last night but couldn't find anything. Yet.

We lead Penn State 2-1 at the 2nd intermission. This team is playing fantastic right now!

yeah i looked on SJSU's site and the san jose paper. nothing at all.

2-1 final. we beat the "ice lions" from penn state.

Suh-weet. So if San Jose St beats Mich St this afternoon, we should be a lock to move up, right?

that would make us 2-0, those two 1-1 and PSU 0-2.

Ok, so is this single elimination or what? What happens if we win? What happens if we lose?

Its pool play with all the winners going to single elim this weekend

SJU did beat MSU, 3-1 this afternoon. It would appear to ME that we control our own destiny- if we win, we advance. If we LOSE to MSU, that would make both of us 2-1, so I really would have to defer to LU Hockey Alum to explain how the tiebreaker works.

I think what those wonderful commentators were saying yesterday is that it goes by goal differential or goals allowed. So in other words if it's a close game with MSU, we're in.
