Funding

does the team make any money off Pro-shop sales?

I ask this b/c I'm jonesing for one of those game sweaters, but I can't justify (to my handler) spending the cash if its going to pay the salary of some VP somewhere.

I'd feel better knowing the proceeds go to helping the guys hit the ice every week, either directly or at least a portion of it coming back to directly fund the club.

HOCKEYALUM, DALTON, DAD - thoughts?

Don't know the answer to that PA - I think the pro shop is owned/run by a D1 player.
I do know that it is rarely open.....

spoke w/ a source this AM that tells me "Buy away!"

evidently the guys (or at least the program itself) DO see the proceeds, or at least a significant part of them.

now to convince MrsPA that I need a home AND away jersey

You'd look so cute running around with the jersey dragging the ground.

Now if we could only get it open before D2 games......

A jersey would be great but you would think my son would at least send me a hat..... :P

Def worth it. Mesh sides, old school front (player #) and old school back (no nameplate ).

Less than 3 hours between the time Medic says he has to ask the second baseman and Smoothie tells him to man up. Not bad. Had it went over 3 hours, I was going to have to say it.

We do not get any money that I am aware of....it is a private business run by Andy Chamberland.

However, where it does benefit us is when people buy items it helps build more momentum in hockey @ LIberty. THat is a good thing and it indirectly is very beneficial for us. Can you imagine what the Ice Center would look like if half of it was filled with hoodies and jersey's of our team?!?! Do you not think that could help the cause of our program making the next step???

they do- I believe there are 3 different versions. SMOOTHIE may remember better, or SJ- he went with me to look at them but we started a rukus and left the Pro Shop before I got us thrown out.
they also have practice style jerseys in multiple colors.

DALTON- thanks for the correction

everybody BUY BUY BUY!
