With the D1 team traveling to Illinois this weekend, get your hockey fix at LeHaye Friday night as the D2 team takes on VMI.
The game is scheduled for 10:30 PM although the team is trying to get it moved up.
This is an "away" game for Liberty even though it is being played at LeHaye.
VMI uses LeHaye as their "home" rink for games & practice.
I am coming down for Parents Weekend and would love to meet any fellow Flame Fans that plan on watching the game.

That's cool...to see the Olive Branch extended to VMI and more of the opening up of the campus to the community at large (of course from a business aspect it makes good sense, also.)

The D2 team dominated VMI in front of a large & vocal crowd last night - final score 10-2 LU!

Excellent win, and even better to hear that the fan turnout was great!

LU Hockey is DEFINTELY the draw we all knew it could be. I think fondly of all the naysayers and doubters back on the old board when we started the thread about a possible rink ON campus.

now we call them "bandwagoneers"
