Congratulations to Coach Bloomfield and the Lady Flames. They defeated the University of Miami Ohio for Liberty's first national championship in ice hockey.

The second-seeded Lady Flames (31-4-1) became the first squad in Liberty Club Sports history to capture an ACHA DI National Championship title at any level, overwhelming top-seeded defending champion Miami of Ohio, 4-1.

Just sayin...anyway, major props to the ladies. they've been to the top of the mountain quite a bit over the years, its just great to see them finally plant the LU flag up on top
