We did...Cam Bakker scored on a rebound with 1:16 to go in the third to get the win.
We were the agressor from the opening faceoff and Blair Bennett made a lot of key saves, including a number of huge ones late. Rick Turner has turned into more of a facilitator after his big scoring run to start the season.
The guys really needed that win last night. I talked to Coach Handy and we played pretty well in most of the losses during this last run, but the pucks weren't bouncing our way (McCombe rang one off the post on Friday night and we probably had three or four that just skirted the goal mouth last night before the winner.
Next up, the hockey team gets its turn at Stony Brook next Friday and Saturday night
