Atlanta Jr. A Knights

The Liberty Flames Division I hockey team is looking to complete a perfect exhibition stretch as the Atlanta Jr. A Knights (coached by former NHL goalie Scott Fankhouser) come to town. Game time Friday is set for 7 PM. The game can be seen live online here starting at 7:

Liberty picks up its third straight win 8-4.
Rick Turner picked up his third straight hat trick and B.J. Pirus (son of former NHLer Alex Pirus) scored his first two goals for Liberty to lead the way. Clayton Brown stopped 23 in the win. The two teams will get together again on Saturday night at 7 as Liberty goes for its second straight sweep. After listening to the football game, come on out to the Ice Center and cheer the Flames to victory

Liberty gets the sweep with their first shootout win of the season 4-3 (3-2 in the shootout). Liberty moves to 4-0 on the year and now gets ready to face off with 2012 national qualifier Mercyhurst for two games next Friday night and Saturday afternoon. First faceoff on Friday is set for 7 p.m.
