I just got a phone call about some interesting events that happened at the Hockey game tonite and was wondering if anyone was there first hand.

I just got the story, interesting indeed. Word was "LU players were simply defending themselves" so that's good.

I'm not sure what happened tonight, but the game last nite was pretty brutal and there seemed to be a lot of pure hatred between the two teams. I can only imagine how crazy how things got tonight.

What happened tonight was the best hockey fight I've ever seen.

After we scored to go up 6-1, one of their guys took a cheap shot at one of our guys. What happened next was a 5-on-5 fight, guys on the ice, helmets off, fist to face punches in some cases. It was great.

I'm sure the Dirt Burglars deserved it. Stinkin' Land Thieves.

Sorry, SumItUp. The Red River Shootout is closing in and my Okie venom is rising.

They sent one of our guys to the hospital last night. Yeah, I don't think our guys were happy.

I was sure glad I went tonight. For a minute I thought the coaches were going to go fist-to-fist also. Too bad this game wasn't televised, it would have been great.

For the record, before rumors get started, no one was arrested.

The last two nights of hockey have been awesome. The thing about people paying is that they stay till the end. My son had a great time too last night watching four of our guys in the "jail" at once.

LU has to go to OU later on in the season. so i can only imagine what could go down in their place.

I am not surprised something happened. It was pretty chippy on Friday night...but the refs kept things under control. OU pretty much man-handled us Friday and dominated the game (at least until we left early)...so for us to come back the next night and dominate them...

...of course, Sly...most of their roster is from TEXAS...so go figure.

Any Texans that would head to Norman can't be real Texans.

ACHA hockey site said we lost 5-1 friday and won 6-2 on saturday. a pretty good start to the season to gain a split

Friday was ugly hockey, IMHO, which had to be just getting the kinks out against outside competition.
