As someone who will spend a lot of time in this building when it finally opens, I can say I appreciate it. My friends who will also spend nearly every weekend for six months in this building will probably agree both as fans and members of the broadcast crew.

Especially the night, on the way back, stopping to climb Sharp Top Mountain.

My favorite was when the gate guard made us get out of our car thinking we had been drinking while waiting for a non rent-a-cop to show up only to basically laugh at the gate guard for thinking we were drunk.

LOL...living on East Campus, we didn't have problems with the gate guard.

What a nice facility! The only dig I would have is that they could have made some of the spaces larger such as the weight room, locker room, and the athletic training room. However, not many college campuses are rocking digs like these! I love what our school is doing to improve itself and am grateful to see all the upgrades that are going on and in the works. This campus will be one of the best in the country when finished. I say that because schools of this size are usually spread out and LU will be one complete piece. I can not wait to see the finished product ten years from now!

Call me a skeptic, but I don't think the campus will ever be a "finished product."

If it ever is, that means we are not as a financially viable then as we are now.

Can´t really predict, but I believe that after a few more years of furious building we will slow down if not totally stop for a while. I recall JLFJR talking about doing all this now because there is a window of opportunity where we have the money and construction is a relative bargain in the current economic climate. That won´t always be the case. He´s pretty smart where stuff like that is involved. My concern is that when we get everything we need/want built, if revenue streams slow down it could become a struggle just to maintain everything.
