Didn't know if any of you guys had heard about this but, Dalton Stoltz are goalie has been sending me e-mails throughout the summer to let me know how things are going and Dalton is really making an impact for our school here is his latest e-mail that he sent me this morning...
Operation 7 Update
I thank God for His faithfulness and bring young men to a saving knowledge
of Jesus Christ. Two nights ago 25 young men stayed behind to give their
hearts to Christ and start in a journey with Him. Again last night, another
4 young men stayed behind to put their faith and hope in Jesus Christ. This
week has been encouraging, and it is amazing to see God’s hand move.
In a specific incident this week a small group met, after some young men
gave their lives to Christ. After more then a couple hours the young men
were instructed to go to bed, but they could not stop praying and thanking
God for what He has done in their lives. Again early in the morning these
young teenagers were digging in the Word and throughout the day they were
found reading the Word. This is amazing when one considers that many of
these young men are totally “unchurched”. I praise God for His
faithfulness, and am thankful to Him for all those who are praying!
Praise:
-29 of the 67 overnight campers have made decisions for Christ
-Augie, Nick, Rick, Nick, Julian, the young men I named specifically, all
have made decisions for Christ and are zealous about their journey ahead of
them. It was amazing to see the Lord break each one of them.
-The Lord continues to provide workers in each area of camps, where needed.
-The Lord continues to give me strength despite my poor sleeping habits this
week.
Prayer:
-Tonight we have are 13 day campers and their parents coming to join us for
a chapel, where again we will have an alter call. Please pray that the Lord
speaks through me tonight, as even many of these parents have not made a
decision for Christ.
-Pray for God to protect these young believers as they go back to their
homes, and pray that they will be able to get connected into a good group of
believers.
- Pray for Don L, who is having severe shoulder pain and is having
difficulties with completing on ice tasks.
-Pray for all the workers here for strength as this week has been very
exhausting
-Again, pray for my mother who is fighting cancer.
I thank God for using you to be apart of His ministry through hockey! Thank
you for your support!
In His Arms,
Dalton
