Didn't know if any of you guys had heard about this but, Dalton Stoltz are goalie has been sending me e-mails throughout the summer to let me know how things are going and Dalton is really making an impact for our school here is his latest e-mail that he sent me this morning...

Operation 7 Update

I thank God for His faithfulness and bring young men to a saving knowledge
of Jesus Christ. Two nights ago 25 young men stayed behind to give their
hearts to Christ and start in a journey with Him. Again last night, another
4 young men stayed behind to put their faith and hope in Jesus Christ. This
week has been encouraging, and it is amazing to see God’s hand move.

In a specific incident this week a small group met, after some young men
gave their lives to Christ. After more then a couple hours the young men
were instructed to go to bed, but they could not stop praying and thanking
God for what He has done in their lives. Again early in the morning these
young teenagers were digging in the Word and throughout the day they were
found reading the Word. This is amazing when one considers that many of
these young men are totally “unchurched”. I praise God for His
faithfulness, and am thankful to Him for all those who are praying!

Praise:

-29 of the 67 overnight campers have made decisions for Christ
-Augie, Nick, Rick, Nick, Julian, the young men I named specifically, all
have made decisions for Christ and are zealous about their journey ahead of
them. It was amazing to see the Lord break each one of them.
-The Lord continues to provide workers in each area of camps, where needed.
-The Lord continues to give me strength despite my poor sleeping habits this
week.

Prayer:

-Tonight we have are 13 day campers and their parents coming to join us for
a chapel, where again we will have an alter call. Please pray that the Lord
speaks through me tonight, as even many of these parents have not made a
decision for Christ.
-Pray for God to protect these young believers as they go back to their
homes, and pray that they will be able to get connected into a good group of
believers.
- Pray for Don L, who is having severe shoulder pain and is having
difficulties with completing on ice tasks.
-Pray for all the workers here for strength as this week has been very
exhausting
-Again, pray for my mother who is fighting cancer.

I thank God for using you to be apart of His ministry through hockey! Thank
you for your support!

In His Arms,
Dalton

This week's e-mail update from Dalton, some pretty special stuff is going on here...

I thank God for His faithfulness as He continually changes lives! How
Amazing is HE! I must admit, through the battles and struggles of this
summer, I know that He is daily working on me in a variety of ways, which is
sometimes very difficult, but Praise God that He loves me enough to do this!

Some Items of Praise:

-With only 3 of 36 HMI camps over…nearly 90 first time decisions for Christ
have been made
-God continues to provide new workers to come along side this ministry.
-God continues to give my mother strength, and she has had a great amount of
energy these past few days.
-God has allowed me to share the truth of the Gospel with a few people who
have never clearly heard or understood before that day.
-God continues to work in the hearts of some many who have given their lives
to Him this summer, including, Augi, Rick, Nick and so many others! (below I
attached an email from Augi)

Items of Prayer:

-Please pray that God’s spirit would touch the kids at the HMI hockey camp
in Prague, Czech Republic this week, (it is the only HMI camp this week)
-Please pray for your local communities this week and that God would work
through local Vacation Bible Schools.
-Please pray for Sean Kumar, a strong Hindu teenager who I got to share the
Gospel with on my flight home from Chicago with…I am now having a dialogue
with him via email, about who Jesus is. Please pray for Sean and for God to
give me wisdom when dealing with him
-Please pray for my friend Jenny, who I had the opportunity to share the
Gospel with yesterday…before yesterday she never understood what the point
of Jesus’ death really was.
-Please pray that daily I would decrease and that Christ would increase in
my life!

Thanks so much for your time in prayer and support in so many ways!

In His Hands,
Dalton

***The following is a email from Augi and a reissuing of the initial
challenge I sent out***

This is the first email I received after camp from Augi:

Hey there Dalton just wanted to tell you how i am doing after leaving Camp.
I went to church on July 2nd for the first time in over 10 years and i can't
explain in words how much my life has changed since coming to the Christian
Hockey Camp. My parents are even happier for me and I was surprised that
they were just as enthusiastic about going to church and I am joining a
youth group thing through my church so it will be cool. Another cool thing
from camp is that all the guys are keeping in touch and are even meeting at
one of their houses and we are all having a bible discussion thing with the
counselor Stevo! I just want to thank you for being at our huddle on Tuesday
during the camp; I really had the best moment of my life.

Sincerely,
Augi

This week's e-mail from Dalton

Operation 7 Update

The weather has been fairly rainy this week…and in some ways it’s almost a
perfect example of what is happening here. Often times, I feel that nothing
is getting accomplished spiritually, but it the end things truly are
happening (Isn’t it true that the Sun is always shinning… it just depends
on what side of the cloud we are on…). Likewise God is at work in so many
lives here at camp, and I am trusting that He will continue to work in the
hearts of everyone here in Kingston Ontario.

Items of Praise:
- Last night we had a camper (one of my goalies) put is faith in Christ…his
name is Cody…and does not come from a Christian home
- We have a majority of first time campers at this camp…. Many of whom are
hearing the Gospel clearly and understanding it for the first time
- Some of the young men who are believers are starting to want to go
deeper.

Items of Prayer:
- Pray for Dylan….Dylan is a goalie I am working with….and he specifically
told me he didn’t want me to tell him anything about Christ…pray that God
would be continually working in his heart
- Please also pray for the approximately 45% (rough estimate) of campers
who have never made a decision for Christ…..we have 61 campers this week
- Pray the next tonight and tomorrow night as we give invitations for young
men to make decisions for Christ.
- Be praying for my friend Alan, who is thinking to come out to a HMI
camp...he has never made a decision to follow Christ, that I am aware of.
-Pray that I would decrease and Christ would increase.

Thanks again for all of your support in so many ways. I pray that God is
doing wonderful things where you are at this summer.

In His Hands,
Dalton

This week's update from Dalton

Operation 7 Update:

I still am amazed every time that God gets a hold of a young man’s life and
radically changes them! Praise God….because this is the case for Dylan
Angus, the young man I asked you all to pray for. On the last night of
camp, Dylan came running up to me, declaring out loud that “I have to join
God’s team”. Wow…praise God for His faithfulness, even when we sometimes
doubt His marvelous hand.

Items of Praise:
- For the marvelous work that He did in Dylan’s heart and 13 other young
men last week in Kingston.
- Praise God for 6 Liberty Students who are working at the Waterloo camp
this week …and other students who are quickly joining this ministry.
- Praise God for the working that He is going in my heart and the hearts of
the full time workers around.

Items of Prayer:
- Pray for Alan and Christ, two friends of mine who I have had very deep
conversations about the Lord with.
- Pray for the campers who have are hearing the Gospel for the first time.
- Please continue to pray for one of the 7 countries that HMI is working in
(they are in the Czech Republic this week)
- Pray for strength and wisdom for councilors and on ice staff.
- pray for my mom’s continual battle for cancer

Thank you so very much for all of your continued support through prayer and
so many other ways…I pray that God continues to work in the hearts of so
many!

Some people had mentioned to me that I should read this....I normally try and stay away from FanForums....(in Junior hockey in Canada....they are trouble to say the least)....but I just wanted to thank you all for praying for Operation 7 and the Ministry that God was doing this summer through such a great game! Praise be to His name alone for the wonderful things that happened!

Thanks again for your support!
